The number of Chinese outbound tourists reached one hundred and twenty million in 2015, spend one hundred and four billion and five hundred million U.S dollars.

Luxury consumption is still strong
Last October the United States Bain & Company survey showed that China is remains the world's largest luxury goods consumer, accounting for 31% of global luxury’s consumption. UK Euromonitor International's latest data show, among Chinese tourists who travel to France, about 40% of the their money spending on shopping.
According to the statistics of China National Tourism Administration, the number of Chinese citizens outbound tourism reached 0.12 billion in 2015, and traveling costs $104.5 billion, which has an increase of 12% and 16.7% respectively.

《2015 Global freedom line report》 shows that Chinese tourists in the shopping area have the largest spending, accounting for 55.8%, and transportation, catering and accommodation consumption accounted for only 13.1%, 10.5% and 9.7% respectively.
Characteristic brand is still popular 
Chinese tourists are also interested in the local popular brand of travel destinations except purchasing luxury goods, and it depends on where they are going. Singapore data agency 6Estates show, in Singapore, China tourists love the local fashion brand Charles&Keith. In Japan, they buy fashion brand Uniqlo and in the United States, they buy coach bag.

With the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) epidemic dispersed, Chinese tourists gradually returned to travel South Korea, which boost South Korea's cosmetics industry.
For the selection of Chinese tourists to Japan and Australia, the most common product on the shopping list is milk and other baby products.In an aging society in Japan, China tourists consumption of Japanese baby diapers sales is also quite optimistic. According to Euromonitor information consulting company data, a large number of Chinese tourists buying Australia milk, which prompted A2 milk company and Bellamy Australia company increase their production in order to meet the demand of Chinese tourists. Australia Kors and Woolworth supermarket even launched the one purchase of 4 per barrel of milk measures in last year.
