5.182 million , this is the number of Chinese outbound tourist in the Spring Festival of 2016.
Chinese has always been regarded as "vulgar tycoon". 

It's the first time the population of outbound tourist is more than the population of visitor in the domestic tourism, but we do not say the Chinese tourist  to buy toilet cover in Japan .
In the 2014, China high-end travel market report show:
89% of the high-end travelers will to buy luxury goods abroad, the proportion of cosmetics is the  highest , more and more Chinese like to costume in overseas luxury brand.
How much they can buy? 
According to the California Tourism Department statistics:
only in California, a total consumption of China tourists is up to $1.9 billion in 2013.
Last year, mainland tourists bought 47% of luxury goods.
Thailand ,Korea and Japan become the most popular place for many mainland tourists.  

Fewer people go to Hong kong, they prefer South Korea, Thailand and Japan.
During seven days in this Spring Festival, the number of people in Hongqiao's Shanghai airport has reached 0.366 million. It is increased by 40.9% ,compared with last year. 
Mainland tourists is increased by 1 million,compared with the number of tourist in 2013. 
South Korea, Thailand, Japan is three places where the Chinese people most like to go.
 You have often heard the recent news, that is perhaps Japan's electric rice cooker, toilet cover, digital products are robbed of light, luxury, of course, is no exception... During the Spring Festival of this year, the duty free sales of Ginza in Tokyo is  tripled.
While in South Korea, there are 800 thousand of the mainland tourists flock to Seoul.

Thailand is also a place for many mainland tourists to choose.
It is diversified the experience of luxury consumer goods to attract Chinese tourists. During the Spring Festival, the number of tourists reach to 690 thousand, more than 30% of the estimated number.
According to the data released by the National Tourism Administration:
 For those country, seven-tenths of tourist are from Asia.
 Short distance and convenient transportation are the important reason. 
At the same time,the population of mainland tourists who went to Hong Kong for shopping during this Spring Festival .It is appeared negative growth in the past 20 years.
 In the last year, the growth rate still was 13.7%, 
Hong Kong Tourism Industry and luxury business environment suffered an unprecedented "frozen".
In contrast, the mainland tourists to Japan is up to 450 thousand during the Spring Festival .The consumption reach to 112.5 billion JPY(about6billionRMB).
The reason why so many Chinese travel to Japan as followed:
